My First Time Out

Today was the first time I’ve left the house since coming home from the hospital. I was so scared I didn’t think I could do it at first. We went to MOPS. Walking through the door was so hard. Just looking at all the people in one room was almost too much. I kept my eyes down and kept going. Then “it” happened. The first “How are you?” – thankfully it was from my pastor. I cried, we hugged. It was like taking a band-aid off quickly. Once it was over it wasn’t so bad. Yes it still hurt but it wasn’t as bad as I had built it up to be. I’m so glad I got it “done and over with”

My dear sweet husband has been so good to me….God knows I’ve been a mess. But thanks to his strength and many prayers I was able to pick myself up and get out of the house. Maybe I’m ready for minute by minute??

Play-Date

Today I hosted a play-date for MOPS. After I said yes a week or so ago I panicked. What if no one shows up? What if everyone shows up? I was so close to canceling it lol! Then I just stepped back and let it go. Only a few moms showed up but it was just the right amount 😉 My new friend Jen was able to come and meet some MOPS moms. The kids played wonderfully. It was loud, busy, messy & FUN!! 🙂 I’m looking forward to next time – at someone else’s house LOL!!

Where Has The Year Gone???

I can’t believe this year is almost over! Where has the time gone?? So much has gone on in the past year so I figure I’d jot down the things I remember (in no particular order)

Of course so much has happened with JoJo. He learned to roll over, sit, crawl, stand, walk & sleep through the night. He also self-weaned about a week or so ago. We got a few dogs, Re-homed a few dogs LOL! Now we have 1 dog 😆 The big boys have gotten SO big. They are really turning into young men. Goober likes girls 😯 and I “think” Ry-Guy does too? Goober made high honor roll – again 😉 Ry-Guy made honor roll in his first year of middle school – Whoo-Hoo – Way to go!! 🙂 I got 2 tattoos – That I’ve been wanting for a long time. Hubby & I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary. We have lived an entire year in our new home 😉 I (finally) found a great church 😉 I had my 5 year old enrolled and un-enrolled in kindergarten. I had my 3 year old enrolled and un-enrolled in pre-school. I found out I like having the little ones home (and I may not put Busy Bee in pre-school this Sept?) 😕 I started going to MOPS again. I joined a playgroup. I got my hair cut short (it was past my shoulders) I made some new friends. Hubby has started cooking for us which I love) I started this blog 😉

I’m sure there is much more. This was all I could come up with without having any coffee 😆 😉 If I remember anything big I’ll add it in…..
